I made it!

Yesterday I ran in my first 1/2 marathon and i'm still walking! I've been training for a couple of months for this and it all paid off yesterday. My goal was to finish the race without walking at all and even though my body said, "please walk I am hurting", I didn't. That was one of the hardest things I have ever done and I am sure feeling it today, especially on stairs. My old mission companion, Heather and her friend Tanya did it with me and we all pushed each other along. Good job girls, we did it!

Yesterday was a milestone day for Noah...he went number 2 in his potty chair! For the past couple of months, Noah has been letting us know when he is stinky by proudly announcing "i'm stinky!" and when he does this, I run him to his potty chair and make him sit down. Well yesterday he made his announcement and Jason checked his diaper only to find it empty. So Jason ran him to the bathroom to sit on his chair, and for moral support Jason sat down next to him on the big toilet. Noah said he was done so we checked and he had gone! Good job Noah! I am so proud. We have a ways to go with this potty training thing, but that is a start. If we could get him to go potty in his chair, then we would be in business.

Hogle Zoo

Yesterday we took Noah to the zoo and had a great time. He loved seeing all of the animals especially the monkeys. We got a great close up view of the rhinos and that was really cool.

We also saw the cutest red panda sleeping in the tree. He was my favorite!

Handy Noah

Jason and I were in the living room watching the Olympics last night when Noah walks in dragging his keyboard and tools. The keyboard ran out of battery power and stopped working so Noah decided he was going to "fix" it with his little plastic tools. What a funny kid! I guess i'd better buy him some more batteries.

The Grand Tetons

Aren't they beautiful?!

Well, we had a great time at our annual Bradley family reunion last weekend. We went to Bear Lake first and had a great time playing in the water. Noah missed a lot of the fun though because he fell asleep. We did sparklers for the little boys and they just loved to see the bright lights.
Then it was off to the Tetons for some camping fun. Noah got to launch water balloons and then catch some with Daddy
During the Olympics Noah got to participate in his first egg-toss with cousin Todd. He threw the egg to Noah and that was the end of the egg!
We played the pioneer stick game and even Noey got in on the action.
Of course we played some volleyball
and learned the true joy of throwing rocks into the water with Grandma
