California part 2

While in California, we took the kids (and my parents) to the Aquarium of the Pacific. The kids had never been there and it was so cool to see all of the different types of sea life. The jellies were my favorite!

This sea lion was so fun, he would follow my Dad's hand and try to get him. It was the cutest thing ever!

The day after Thanksgiving, we went to the Christmas tree farm to pick out my parents' tree this year. Growing up, we would go every year and cut down our tree at this same tree farm in Santa Paula. I wish we had one here in Utah! Noah got to pick out the tree and then the boys got to try and cut it down.

Thanksgiving in California

We got to go to California for Thanksgiving to visit my family. Our first official stop along the way was Las Vegas. I have been wanting to try the frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity III, so that was a must while we were there. Trying to get Logan to smile for a picture is always difficult!
As soon as we got to my parents' house, Allie discovered Tom the cat. Poor Thomas O'Malley got chased around the house the whole time we were there!

He soon found that he was somewhat safe on my parents bed. Isn't their room beautiful? I just love it!

Of course, no trip to So Cal would be complete without a visit to the Americana!

During the Holiday season, it snows bubbles in the evenings. It was really beautiful!

The boys got to get their hair cut by my Mom. They were both very good clients!
Family photo on Thanksgiving day, this was the best we could get!

Thanksgiving was wonderful because my Mom's cousins were able to come join us for dinner. I haven't seen them for several years so it was so nice to visit and brush up on my Spanish.
  Tryptophan coma!

Snow fun

My kiddos were so excited when they discovered it had snowed during the night. The boys actually went outside in pajamas and socks so they could touch the snow, as though they had never seen it before!
Jason took the kids out to build a snow fort.

Allie looked so cute in her new winter gear. She loved eating the snow.

Cutest little snow bunny ever!

pumpkins

For family night in October, we carved pumpkins.

Noah and Logan loved pulling the guts out!

Even Allie got in on the fun!
Jason is an expert pumpkin carver and ended up doing all the kids'. Of course, I never got a picture of all of the pumpkins carved before they got all squishy.

Halloween 2012

It is time to do a little catching up on the old blog...
Halloween this year, was so fun! Noah decided that he wanted to be a ninja again this year and Logan naturally decided to be the same thing. Noah wanted to be a red ninja and Logan a blue ninja.

Noah has actual ambitions to be a real ninja when he grows up, both boys have the moves down! I LOVE these cute boys so much!
Allie was Tinkerbell this year and looked adorable in her costume that my Mom couldn't resist buying for her. Allie's favorite part of her costume were the pom-pom shoes, because they jingled every time she took a step.
Allie stayed home with Daddy to hand out the candy and I took the boys door to door. They got so much candy from our great neighbors. Complete with Dracula teeth! It was a fun night!
