California part 2

While in California, we took the kids (and my parents) to the Aquarium of the Pacific. The kids had never been there and it was so cool to see all of the different types of sea life. The jellies were my favorite!

This sea lion was so fun, he would follow my Dad's hand and try to get him. It was the cutest thing ever!

The day after Thanksgiving, we went to the Christmas tree farm to pick out my parents' tree this year. Growing up, we would go every year and cut down our tree at this same tree farm in Santa Paula. I wish we had one here in Utah! Noah got to pick out the tree and then the boys got to try and cut it down.

Thanksgiving in California

We got to go to California for Thanksgiving to visit my family. Our first official stop along the way was Las Vegas. I have been wanting to try the frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity III, so that was a must while we were there. Trying to get Logan to smile for a picture is always difficult!
As soon as we got to my parents' house, Allie discovered Tom the cat. Poor Thomas O'Malley got chased around the house the whole time we were there!

He soon found that he was somewhat safe on my parents bed. Isn't their room beautiful? I just love it!

Of course, no trip to So Cal would be complete without a visit to the Americana!

During the Holiday season, it snows bubbles in the evenings. It was really beautiful!

The boys got to get their hair cut by my Mom. They were both very good clients!
Family photo on Thanksgiving day, this was the best we could get!

Thanksgiving was wonderful because my Mom's cousins were able to come join us for dinner. I haven't seen them for several years so it was so nice to visit and brush up on my Spanish.
  Tryptophan coma!

Snow fun

My kiddos were so excited when they discovered it had snowed during the night. The boys actually went outside in pajamas and socks so they could touch the snow, as though they had never seen it before!
Jason took the kids out to build a snow fort.

Allie looked so cute in her new winter gear. She loved eating the snow.

Cutest little snow bunny ever!

pumpkins

For family night in October, we carved pumpkins.

Noah and Logan loved pulling the guts out!

Even Allie got in on the fun!
Jason is an expert pumpkin carver and ended up doing all the kids'. Of course, I never got a picture of all of the pumpkins carved before they got all squishy.

Halloween 2012

It is time to do a little catching up on the old blog...
Halloween this year, was so fun! Noah decided that he wanted to be a ninja again this year and Logan naturally decided to be the same thing. Noah wanted to be a red ninja and Logan a blue ninja.

Noah has actual ambitions to be a real ninja when he grows up, both boys have the moves down! I LOVE these cute boys so much!
Allie was Tinkerbell this year and looked adorable in her costume that my Mom couldn't resist buying for her. Allie's favorite part of her costume were the pom-pom shoes, because they jingled every time she took a step.
Allie stayed home with Daddy to hand out the candy and I took the boys door to door. They got so much candy from our great neighbors. Complete with Dracula teeth! It was a fun night!

18 months

Little Allie is 18 months old now! She is still a little thing but seems to be growing so fast. Here are her stats:

Height: 32" and 59th%
Weight: 21 pounds 2 ounces and 8th%

Allie gets to go to nursery now and hasn't had a problem staying in there at all. She is the best sharer and makes sure each of the kids and leaders in nursery has a stuffed animal. Stuffed animals are Allies favorite things right now and she just about dies every time we go to Costco and she sees their huge stuffed animals!

The kids set up a bed so they could watch a late night movie while Mommy did some sewing. I love that they sometimes love each other.

She still sucks on her 2 fingers to console herself and loves her blankie that Great Grandma Denene made. She is learning to say a lot of new words and can usually understand what we say to her. She is turning into a little girly girl and loves to dress up and hug her dollies. Allie also loves to tease her brothers and grab whatever they are playing with and run away so they will chase her.

Cabins

A few months ago we got to stay at my brother-in-laws family cabin in Fairview. It was so nice to go and relax and be in the beautiful canyon. We got to roast marshmallows, play games and the boys got to try out some fishing. They didn't catch anything but had fun trying!
Noah and Trey relaxing by the lake.

Allie loved the freedom to wander around wherever she wanted.

 Uncle Eric helping Logan fish.

The following weekend, we got to stay at my other brother-in-laws family cabin also in Fairview. It was right as the leaves were starting to change color and it was so gorgeous. We had so much fun going on 4-wheeler rides, eating delicious dutch oven meals and visiting with family.

The beautiful view from the cabin:

Daddy and Allie fell asleep on the couch. (Unfortunately my camera was being dumb and wasn't in focus!)

Allie riding Uncle Josh's RC car with grandpa Dean.

The kids had so much fun pushing the little car up the hill and watching it race back down.

This 4-wheeler of Uncle Nic's was the best because both boys or Allie and I could fit while Jason drove.

We all had so much fun and were sad to have to leave!
