the bumbo

My little Allie is one of those babies that likes to be held at all times. I don't mind too much because she loves to cuddle when she is being held but, I can't hold her all of the time. Thank goodness for the bumbo! She is still kind of little for it but, she likes it!
I just can't get enough of this little girl!

carnival

This last weekend was our city days so we decided to take the kids to the carnival and have a little family fun. It was a small carnival and it was a super hot day but the boys had a great time!This is what Allie did the whole time...we had to put her car seat canopy over the stroller because of course I wasn't thinking and I brought the stroller without a shade. Don't worry, she was wearing 50 sunblock on her little chicken legs!

Blessing Day

Last Sunday, Allie got her special blessing in church by her Daddy. It was a beautiful blessing for a beautiful girl! We are so thankful that lots of family and friends were able to be there for her special day. I went to lots of stores to find the perfect dress for Allie but, they were all just a bit too big for her. So, I decided to try and make one. It ended up being a onesie that I put little rosettes on, and a very long ruffle skirt that tied in the back with a big bow. I just love how it turned out! Of course she had to look her best for her blessing day, so I painted her nails for the first time and she looked so cute!

Happy 2 months!

Little Allie is now 2 months old! Here are the stats from her checkup:

She is a very happy baby and smiles a lot now.
She doesn't like to sleep much during the day but is only waking up once at night.
