The garden

I have always wanted a nice big garden to grow all sorts of veggies and herbs for my family. This year, I finally get my garden in our first backyard. Jason dug out a nice big spot for me and filled it with dirt and i've got some great plants coming along.

We got snow and frost very late in May so my garden is a little behind but it is so fun to watch it grow! I totally squished the plants in there, I am growing pumpkin and watermelon and cucumber, all huge plants so we will see how that goes! Maybe next year, I will expand the garden and learn how to can so I can have tomatoes and green beans all year round!

chores

My little Noah is so in love with Legos right now. Anytime we are at Walmart or Target he has to walk down the Lego isle and he of course asks to get one everytime. Well, Legos are expensive and I don't want to spoil him by getting a new toy everytime we go to the store so, we decided Noah could earn new toys. He does various chorse around the house and we give him a little bit of money for each chore and he saves it so he can buy a Lego next time we go to the store.

(Here he is cleaning the spots off the floor, (we were hurting to find more chores for him)).

The whole chore thing is working out quite well too. His room is always clean and bed made and he is constantly asking me for chores to do, I can't complain!
