A little catching up

It has been a while since I last blogged so here are some random things I have been meaning to post.It's nice to know they love each other. The boys love to spin around in Mommy's sewing chair. Bubbles with Daddy.

Logan is getting to be such a big boy. He must have been very uncomfortable in his dirty diaper because he decided to take it off and left me a little surprise all over the carpet! Thank goodness we have a carpet cleaner and it came out! Logan had to sit in his high chair while I cleaned carpets. Here he is fresh out of the bath with a nice clean diaper on. At 8 months pregnant, I am starting to get more tired during the day so I layed on the couch for a little nap and Logan decided to join me. It is very rare for my little guy to fall asleep anywhere other than his bed, so it was a nice treat to cuddle a little bit with him. On St. Patrick's Day, Noah was at a friends house so Logan and I decided to go to a little playgroup they do at our church. It was so cute seeing all of the little kids in their green.

Lastly, a few days ago, Jason and I took the boys to get their shots and check-ups. I had to take Jason with me because I knew Noah would put up a fight getting his shots. He had to get his kindergarten immunizations and he sure did put up a fight. Thankfully Jason was there to hold him down for me! Logan got his finger pricked and 3 shots and he didn't even cry. What a big boy! Here are their stats.
Noah at 5 years:
height: 42" and 41%
weight: 39.61 pounds and 49%

Logan at 22 months:
height: 33" and 39%
weight: 26.57 pounds and 38%

Baby shower

Some of the wonderful ladies in my neighborhood threw me a baby shower. This is my 3rd baby, so I was not expecting a shower but this is our first girl and I am so thankful to have had one! There was so much I needed for her and thanks to the shower, I feel much more prepared for her arrival. Here are some pics of some of the beautiful things we got: a girl can never have enough shoes...right?!I got so many diapers that I will not need to buy a single diaper for her, for the first few months. There was a great turnout for the shower and I am so grateful to have so many great friends and family who already love this little one. Only 2 weeks to go until our princess is here!

Happy Birthday Jason!

On March 27th, Jason celebrated his 30th birthday! It is a milestone birthday, so I decided to throw a surprise birthday party for him. When we got back from church on Sunday, his family and friends were waiting at our home to surprise him. It was so fun, and hard to keep the secret from him but I think he had a great time!We opened his presents before church and I made him puffed oven pancakes for breakfast...one of his favorites. The boys were so excited to give Daddy his new basketball!Jason's mom got this great looking golf cake for Jason and his sister Amanda made the best spaghetti ever. I wish I had gotten pics of our great family and friends who made the trip to our house to celebrate Jason's big day. We love you Jason and hope the transition from your 20's to 30's was a little easier!
