Lotion...

So I was in my room this morning watching Studio 5, (trying to win tickets to Disneyland) when I notice Noah is being very quiet. You moms know that is bad! I found him in the living room watching "Dora" and spreading lotion all over his head like shampoo. I couldn't be mad because I was laughing too hard! Needless to say, Noah had an early bath today. Oh I love the terrible twos!

This kind of reminds me of the VapoRub incident. Good times!

Party!

Today Noah went to his first BiRthDaY PaRtY. It was a party for our cute little neighbor, Jerusha who turned 6 today. She wanted Noah there at her princess party so Noah was a little prince and had a great time amidst all of the little girls. He and Wyatt were the only boys but Noah didn't seem to mind! Here they are playing poisoned apple (hot potato)... This is all of the princesses (and prince) who came. Noah did not want to be in the picture he was too busy swinging.
They played lots of fun games and then danced at the ball. Noah even got to dance with a girl! It was so stinkin' cute!

Where a kid can be a kid!

On Saturday night we took Noah to Chuck E. Cheeses. He had a blast and so did we!

Neither Jason or I had been for there for at least 15 years and they still have the same animatronic puppets there playing music while you eat. We played ski ball,

and air hockey (the table was just Noah's size),

and rode on a big huge monster truck.

Even though there were about 6 different birthday parties going on that night and it was super crowded, we still had a good time spent together as a family.

I have been waiting for this all year! Macey's is having their case lot sale! Well it is not their official case lot sale but it is a food storage sale. We were able to stock up on our food storage items. Even though we seriously have nowhere to put it all, I feel better knowing we are at least a little more prepared. So all of you Utahns who may read my blog... go stock up!

Dinosaurs!

We went to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point on the last $2 dollar Tuesday they had last month. It is so funny how your baby turns into a little boy and inherently loves dinosaurs and trucks and roars at me all of the time! Noah had lots of fun running around showing me all of the dinosaurs. His favorite part was digging in the sand for fossils. I hard a hard time getting him out!
My favorite part was the humongous sea turtle. It is called Archelon Ischyros and is a replica of a turtle found in South Dakota measuring 16 feet wide. Pretty cool huh?

Haircut?

My little boy has a lot of curly hair but I just hate getting it cut. I love his curls and I am always sad to see them go when we chop his hair off, but when he starts to look like a little girl....i'd say it's time for a haircut! Here is the before (after Aunt Amanda brushed it):

I couldn't decide which picture was best so I put both in. He is such a goof ball! So who cut his hair? I did! I know a lot of moms cut their kids hair but I have been too scared to do it. Let just say, it's a good thing he has curly hair because it was a total hack job! Oh well at least he does not look like a girl anymore.
