8-months old
My little Allie is now 8 months old! She is sadly, not in the newborn phase and is a full fledged baby. It's a little sad that she is growing so fast, but I just love this stage! Allie is so close to crawling. She will lay on her tummy and get in a push-up pose and try to lunge forward.
If you are eating in front of her, she will loudly hum and let you know that she would like a bite, or two! Here she fell asleep due to a cheerio induced coma.

Christmas-ing
I just love this time of year and all of the traditions that go along with Christmastime. We had a Christmas party at our church and Santa stopped in for a visit! The boys were so excited to sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Noah said he wants the Lego ninjago fire temple and Logan just wants some Legos.
For family night, we decided to decorate our gingerbread house. It was very tough for the boys to decorate the house with the candy, instead of eating it. They did a great job!
We took some pictures of the Grandkids for my parents. They are so cute and photogenic!

Family Pictures
My super talented sister-in-law, Amanda, took our family pictures for us. I am in love with how they turned out! Here is a link to Mendenhall Photography so you can get your pics taken too!

I had a specific look in mind that I wanted for these pictures, and that is exactly what I got! Thanks Amanda!!

Our little princess is 7 months old today! She is growing so quickly and continues to make us smile everyday. She is a champion eater and is starting to grab and reach for EVERYTHING! She is at such a fun stage now because she will smile when you talk (or look) at her and she is beginning to sit up!
She can only go a few seconds for now but is practicing.
She is an expert at rolling over and can get all the way around the room. She gets frustrated when she can't reach a toy and i'm sure she would love to be crawling. Allie weighs 15 pounds now!

Pumpkin time!
My sister and I went to a pumpkin patch with the kids this last week. it was such a cute place! They had lots of old tractors for the kids to play on and a corn maze.

Logan loved the kid sized wheel barrows they had. Noah filled his wheel barrow up in hope that we would buy all of the pumpkins he chose. It was a fun fall outing!

Cute Trey Trey!

For family night, we carved our pumpkins and watched Frankenstein. The boys loved it!

Here are the finished pumpkins: Noah's spider
Logan's happy pumpkin
Jason's scary pumpkin

California trip
We decided to take a quick trip to California to visit my family during Noah's fall break. We had a great time and enjoyed relaxing and visiting family.
Grandma Sylvie taught the boys how to play hop-scotch and got some cuddle time with Allie. She is such a cuddly baby...I just love it!
We went to Griffith park and rode the little train, the horses and saw the big huge trains. Logan loves trains so this was right up his alley!

We went to the beautiful Americana shopping mall. I love it because it has a beautiful chandelier outside, fountains, a trolley, and all of my favorite stores in one place!
We decided to go to the beach on a nice sunny and warm Saturday. When we got there however, it was not sunny or warm anymore! We let the boys play in the sand so Noah could build his castle, while us girls stayed in the car where it was warm. I couldn't even see the ocean from where we parked, it was so overcast.

We did get hot-dog-on-a-stick and it made the trip to the beach worthwhile!
One of the reasons, we decided to take our trip to Cali was because my Grandpa had not met Allie yet. I am so glad we got to see him! Looking at the pictures makes me teary-eyed because you never know how much longer you will have someone and because we live 900 miles away, I don't know when we will be going back.
