3 Little Boys

On Saturday, I got to go to my cousin Katie's baby shower. She is having a boy at the end of March or early April. My other cousin Lesa is having a baby boy at the end of April and I am having a boy in mid May. It's so fun because these little boys will be so close in age, they are destined to be the best of buddies. Here is a pic of us gals at the shower. I can't wait to get a picture of the 3 little boys together at our family reunion.

We love Valentine's!

Happy Valentine's Day! Noah and I made cute little heart cupcakes. I found out that he loves cake batter (who doesn't?) and he loves to lick off the frosting first and then eat the cake part. It was fun to watch him put on his sprinkles.

This morning we made heart shaped pancakes with my newest kitchen gadget that I found for way cheap on Ebay. I tried to fry and egg in it but that sure didn't work well. I guess we'll just stick to pancakes. Cute huh?

As a treat today Jason got me chocolate covered strawberries (my favorite indulgence) and he took me to this cute store called Granato's. They sell all sorts of imported foods from Italy. It was so much fun for me to see the foods that I only hear about on my cooking shows like, white truffle oil and aged Balsamic vinegar. I also found empanada shells there and mate which are things from my mission in Argentina. We got yummy Kinder chocolate and some great pastas that I can't wait to try. Bubbles!

We have been trying to get Noah potty trained before the baby comes but it just wasn't going well. Then my cousin Amber told us to try taking his diaper off during the day and that seems to be the trick with Noah. We still haven't been able to get him to go potty in his chair but he will go poo poo. At least we are getting somewhere! As a reward for his hard work, I took Noah to Target and we got him a toy. He chose a bubble machine, and it is so much fun. He absolutely loves it! Here he is attacking the bubbles...

26 weeks along...

We had another doctors appointment today. Everything looks good and my belly is 27 cm. which is right on. The belly is getting bigger and so is the baby. I have such a short torso that the baby is already in my ribs and it can be a little uncomfortable at times but no complaints other than that. We still haven't chosen a name yet but we are way excited to have this little boy here!

Little Chef

Every night when I make dinner, Noah runs up to me and asks if he can help. I love it because cooking is one of my favorite things to do so the fact that he enjoys it too just makes me happy. A few months ago I made him a little apron so he could wear one just like mommy. Here he is wearing his new apron and helping me make pizza:

His favorite kitchen gadget is the garlic press so anytime I use garlic (all the time) he gets to squeeze it! Maybe we need to get him a cute little kitchen for his birthday, that would be so cute! (and maybe with our tax return, I can get a new camera. What's the deal with these pictures?)
