Pumpkin time!

My sister and I went to a pumpkin patch with the kids this last week. it was such a cute place! They had lots of old tractors for the kids to play on and a corn maze. Logan loved the kid sized wheel barrows they had. Noah filled his wheel barrow up in hope that we would buy all of the pumpkins he chose. It was a fun fall outing!
Cute Trey Trey!

For family night, we carved our pumpkins and watched Frankenstein. The boys loved it!

Here are the finished pumpkins: Noah's spider
Logan's happy pumpkin
Jason's scary pumpkin
my Franken-pumpkin

California trip

We decided to take a quick trip to California to visit my family during Noah's fall break. We had a great time and enjoyed relaxing and visiting family. Grandma Sylvie taught the boys how to play hop-scotch and got some cuddle time with Allie. She is such a cuddly baby...I just love it!We went to Griffith park and rode the little train, the horses and saw the big huge trains. Logan loves trains so this was right up his alley!
We went to the beautiful Americana shopping mall. I love it because it has a beautiful chandelier outside, fountains, a trolley, and all of my favorite stores in one place! We decided to go to the beach on a nice sunny and warm Saturday. When we got there however, it was not sunny or warm anymore! We let the boys play in the sand so Noah could build his castle, while us girls stayed in the car where it was warm. I couldn't even see the ocean from where we parked, it was so overcast. We did get hot-dog-on-a-stick and it made the trip to the beach worthwhile!

One of the reasons, we decided to take our trip to Cali was because my Grandpa had not met Allie yet. I am so glad we got to see him! Looking at the pictures makes me teary-eyed because you never know how much longer you will have someone and because we live 900 miles away, I don't know when we will be going back.

green beans

I have been feeding Allie baby food for the last month, trying to get her used to eating solids. We have tried lots of different veggies and she loves them all but one...green beans!
Here are some random pictures of some Allie love...

the first snow

We had our fist snow last week! I looked out the window in shock as I saw big snow flakes falling and actually sticking to the ground! The boys were so excited, that we had to get the snow gear on and have some fun in the snow!
Allie enjoyed watching the boys and their snowball fight!
It was fun while it lasted but we don't need any more snow until after Halloween at least!

catching up

My little apron shop has been really busy lately and will continue to be until Christmas is over, so I am usually sewing during my free-time. It is time to catch up on what we have been up to!

The boys love taking baths and I save time by having them bath together. This time, we decided to bathe by glow stick light. The boys loved it and didn't even need bubbles or toys to keep them entertained!
Of course, Noah gave Logan the girl colors but he didn't seem to mind! Allie loves her bath time too!

6 months old!

It is hard to believe that my little Allie is already 6 months old! Time is sure flying quickly with this little one. She had her 6 month check-up yesterday and here are her stats...
height: 25 3/4" 26th%
weight: 13 lbs. 8 oz. 8th%
head: 16.5" 33rd%

Looks like we need to fatten her up! Allie is still nursing and taking formula. She is taking 1 nap a day and has been for a few months. Sh is rolling over but only from her back to tummy. She loves to coo and we can easily get her to laugh. She loves her brothers and they love smothering her and talking to her. Allie loves her 2 fingers still and sucks on them often, she also loves her tongue and likes to play with it and stick it out all of the time!
