Fun Times

Last week, my sisters and our families went bowling and had a great time spending a fun evening together. Even the babies got to bowl!

Look at all those curls, I just love them! Noah did second best coming in close behind Jason who gave us all a run for our money.

Tatum is getting so big. He just loved rolling the ball down the ramp and watching it hit the pins.

On the 24th we went to our Aunt and Uncles home in Ogden and spent Pioneer Day swimming, eating and socializing with family. We had so much fun! Noah would not leave the first 2 steps of
the pool but at least he got in. Here he is with Todd, these 2 had so much fun splashing each other.
After all of that swimming and playing in the sun, my little fish took a nap on the grass under a nice tree. How relaxing!
John and Pat, we love your new home! Thanks for letting us come and play :)

Pillow Fight!

We went to Jason's parents house on Sunday and Noah had a blast during a PiLLoW FiGht. I just had to share the video of Noah "playing dead". Uncle Tyler would hit him with a pillow and Noah would, very dramatically, get knocked down. What a silly boy!

Carnival!

Yesterday Noah got to go to his first CaRniVaL. He had so much fun going on the rides. His favorite I think was the monster truck ride. He loves trucks and he actually got to drive it. We had a blast watching him have so much fun. It is hard to believe that our little boy can go on rides all by himself. He could barely reach the stearing wheel on this train ride, but it was so cute!

Of course while there, I got my once-yearly FuNnel CaKe. If you have never tried one, you are missing out! I had to go running with the jog stroller and play volleyball last night to work that off!

Tour de Donut

So here in American Fork it is what they call "Steel Days" and the city hosts fun events for everyone to participate in. Jason is a road cyclist and got to ride in the first annual "Tour de Donut". It is the best idea ever!

You ride 21 miles total but after every 7 miles, you stop and eat as many DoNuTs as you can. For each donut you eat, you get 3 minutes taken off of your ride time. So in order to win the race, you have to eat a lot of Donuts. The winner ate 25 donuts! Jason got a total of 10 down. Here he is eating 3 at a time all squished together. Gross! He had fun and we will be training for next year!

here it is....

Finally I will post some pics of our new place:
This is the kitchen that I love because there is a lot of counter space and the color on the walls is something I would have chosen. I do miss the stainless steel appliances though!

This is the view down the long hallway, at the end is the master to the right is the living room and to the left is Noah's room and the guest bath.
Now the picture loader stopped working, I will post more pics later but,
what I love most about this place is the backyard. There is a swingset, a tramp, it is fully enclosed and there is also room for Noey to ride his bike.

4th of July Weekend

Happy Independence Day! We had a great weekend and were able to spend it with both sides of the family. First we went to the Hyrum city parade. Noah and Porter had so much fun throwing poppers.
Then, it was off to my Aunt Lori's house for a 4th of July BBQ. We played water baseball, launched water balloons and had a great time visiting with family.

Next we were off to Bear Lake to stay at Jason's grandparents house with them and Jason's sister Amanda and our brother-in-law Tyler. That night we got to see the fireworks that were right over the lake, it was beautiful! Here is Noah and Amanda playing cards:
We played a lot of Wii. Grandma Nene is the pro at power bowling, we couldn't beat her! Then we hiked to the ice caves in Paris, ID. We went last year and there was no snow there, this year it was packed with snow. It was really cool!
Then we spent some time on the beach. It was so crowded this weekend that finding an open spot at the beach was pretty tricky, but we managed to have some fun in the beautiful clear water.
