I have always wanted a nice big garden to grow all sorts of veggies and herbs for my family. This year, I finally get my garden in our first backyard. Jason dug out a nice big spot for me and filled it with dirt and i've got some great plants coming along.
We got snow and frost very late in May so my garden is a little behind but it is so fun to watch it grow! I totally squished the plants in there, I am growing pumpkin and watermelon and cucumber, all huge plants so we will see how that goes! Maybe next year, I will expand the garden and learn how to can so I can have tomatoes and green beans all year round!

How exciting! Jess really wants a big garden as well to grow vegetables. I don't have a green thumb but he will be more than welcome to potter about when we get a garden big enough for him to do so.
Oh, that looks awesome Elan! We haven't ever been able to keep anything alive other than our tomatoes. But I'm not complaining too loud, because I do love tomatoes!!! Your space looks awesome, and I can't wait to see how everything turns out!
Your garden looks great! We've tried doing a few things in a garden and it's such a rewarding experience when they grow and produce something yummy!
