Poor Logan

Logan is crawling and getting into everything these days. He is loving the freedom he has by getting around on his own. Well, a few weeks ago, we were at my cousins' house and I left him with the kids to play while I visited with my cuz. Poor Logan was curious and ended up touching the glass of the lit fireplace and burned his little hand. It didn't look bad at all but he just kept crying so we left and I ended up taking him to the doctor. His hand was a little blistered by then so the nurses wrapped it up and gave me a prescription for the pain and this silver sulphate stuff to help the burn. The next day when I went to change the bandage, his whole hand was one huge blister covering his palm! Gross huh?! (That's the silver sulphate all over his hand.) A huge blister like and a crawling baby don't mix and it popped the next day. Poor thing had to army crawl to get around because it hurt him to crawl normally on his hand. We just kept wrapping it up and putting the medicine on and a week later his hand was looking mostly back to normal. He has no scars and the hand looks great!

Oh, as awful of an experience as I'm sure that that was, he sure is cute with his hand all bandaged! I love what a sweet little face he has. And I love the army crawl! that is all that Luke ever did, so that brings back lots of memories ;)
