Happy Birthday Noah!

Noah turned 6 years old on May 29th! His birthday was more like a birthday month and he thoroughly enjoyed it! At school, Noah had his birthday week as the King Bee. We made a poster that was all about Noah, and it hung in his classroom for the whole week.

He got to sit in a special chair during class for the birthday week. I got to go into his classroom and read Noah's favorite story which (at the moment) is "The Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. As a treat for the class, I brought in strawberries and watermelon because that is what the caterpillar ate. I was going to put little holes in each piece of fruit, as though the caterpillar ate through them, but ran out of time... oh well, it would have been cute! As part of Noah's birthday week, he got to demonstrate to class a skill or talent, and he chose building with legos. He built a ship and his classmates loved it!

On Noah's actual birthday, he got balloons in his bed when he woke up and 6 of them were filled with $1 for each year he has been alive. He was pretty happy to add that to his piggy bank! He requested we have bacon for breakfast, I didn't even know he liked bacon!
For lunch, we went to McDonald's and got us some happy meals, but really, who needs food when there's a playplace?! I wanted to take him somewhere fun but sometimes I feel disabled with 3 little kids and I don't go anywhere without Daddy's help. So, Noah played with friends at home. For dinner, I thought for sure he would want to go out for pizza, but he decided on red sauce pasta. It is his favorite meal! Thank you Pioneer Woman for your delicious recipe

That night he got to open a few presents, his favorite being his beloved Black Pearl. It took him 2 days to build, and he protects it like a baby; we can't have that breaking!

That night, we took him out to go choose his new bike. And what's a bike without a ramp? He is now a little pro riding around on his big bike with our neighborhood bike gang!

Wow! I can't believe little Noah is 6 already. It feels like just yesterday I was attending your baby shower. You have a beautiful family, so happy for you!

Sounds like a heck of a birthday month! I loved hearing about all the stuff he got to do at school; sounds like he put on a pretty good show.
He's pretty cute with his ramp too!
